  • ½ kilogram of minced meat
  • 1 large grain, finely chopped:
  • onion - green or red pepper
  • 6 medium sweet potatoes, grated and juiced
  • 200 grams of mozzarella
  • 150 grams of cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon:
  • black pepper - paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato puree
  • 3 tablespoons:
  • vegetable oil - chopped parsley
  • To prepare the bechamel sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1.5 cups of milk
  • ¼ teaspoon:
  • salt - white pepper - nutmeg

How to prepare Potato and minced meat roll


  1. We put grated and squeezed potatoes in a bowl, add cheddar cheese, mozzarella, eggs, half the amount of salt, black pepper and paprika, and mix the ingredients together.
  2. In a tray covered with parchment paper and greased with a little butter, spread the mixture and press it well until it holds together, then put the tray in an oven at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes, until the potatoes are browned and golden in colour.
  3. In the meantime, we prepare the stuffing from the minced meat, where put in a pot of oil on medium heat and add the minced meat, onions, green peppers, salt, pepper and paprika, stir and leave the ingredients for 15 minutes until fully cooked, then add the tomato puree, stir and leave the ingredients on the fire for 5 minutes, then add a little From the hot water, stir and leave the mixture on the fire until the water evaporates, then add the parsley, stir well, then remove the pot from the heat.
  4.  At the same time, prepare the bechamel sauce by putting butter in a saucepan over medium heat, adding flour and stirring for 1/2 minute, then adding milk, salt, white pepper and nutmeg and continuing to stir until boiling. Cook until the texture thickens.
  5. Remove the tray from the oven, spread the prepared meat over the potatoes, roll the potatoes into a roll, place on the tray, pour the bechamel sauce over it, and sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar until the face turns red. Place the sheet back in the oven for 5 minutes.
