- ¼ kilo of minced pork
- 3 beets, cut and diced

How to prepare Russian borscht soup
- Put the vegetable oil in a hot pot, add the onion and garlic and fry for five minutes until soft, then add the tomatoes, potatoes and cabbage, stir and leave the mix for twenty-five minutes until when it is soft. Baste, put on the fire, close the lid and leave the meat for 30 minutes, until it is completely cooked.
- Put the meat in a bowl with a mixture of vegetables, salt, pepper and paprika and wait until it boils. Then add the beetroot and cook for 5 minutes until the ingredients are combined. Pour into a serving dish and serve hot with sour cream and toasted garlic bread.
