Banana and banana peel on the face, for a miracle facial mask

If the banana peel can make the face radiant and the skin young, it is also a great ally for treating skin problems, such as acne.

The benefits of banana peel and the banana itself are numerous! You can apply them to your face and skin in its natural state or as a mask.

In this article, I tell you all about the miracle effect of banana peel and I give you my recipes for face masks and all skin types. You won't ever check out bananas the same way!

The different uses of the banana peel on the face

Why banana peel for my face? It's simple. The potassium found in bananas hydrates and nourishes dry, dehydrated skin, while zinc and lectin help fight and treat acne.

The amino acids found in bananas are top ersatz in various anti-ageing treatments and creams. Indeed, these amino acids help strengthen connective tissue and maintain the elasticity and firmness of the skin.

Now, to your little aprons. It's time for a makeover!

1. Banana peel to treat acne and sun damage

L-ascorbic acid and calming properties present in the banana strips can defeat skin inflammation and harm brought about by delayed openness to the sun.

How to use the banana peel in this case:

  1. Clean up with a gentle face wash and wipe off with a towel. With sweetness, always!
  2. Cut a small square of banana peel and massage the affected area with the inner part (not the yellow side, huh!)
  3. Leave on for fifteen minutes. Then rinse.
  4. For best results, repeat the operation 2 times a day
  5. Apply this banana treatment for 10 days to see results.

2. Banana peel to reduce wrinkles and brighten skin

The high antioxidant content of banana peel improves blood circulation and nourishes the very sensitive skin around the eyes.

How to use the banana peel in this case:

The Final Word on Banana Face Mask for All Skin Types

Be aware that the riper the banana, the better, as its antioxidant content will be increased.

A ripe banana is therefore ideal for preventing and delaying the deterioration and ageing of skin and body cells.
