Lush Chinese Cake is a unique recipe in Chinese cuisine. It is prepared easily from dough covered with butter in a pan and then in the oven. It is delicious, sweet and crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.

Efrata 

  • 500 grams of flour 
  • 250 grams of water 
  • 5 grams: salt - powder 
  • 2 tablespoons of butter 

How to prepare 

  1. Put the flour in a bowl and add salt and powder to it and stir, then add water little by little while continuing to knead for 10 minutes until the dough is soft and smooth, then, we cover it with cling film and let it rest for 20 minutes. then mix again for 10 minutes, then cover it with cling film and leave to rest for 60 minutes, then cut into three pieces. Each piece is made into a long roll, and with a rolling pin, it is rolled into a thin dough of 180 cm in length and 10 cm in width. We rub it in butter and roll it in half lengthwise. Then, using a pizza cutter, we make a long line on the other half, we continue to rotate until we get a cylinder that we divide into two pieces and press each to obtain a disk with a thickness of 1.5 cm.
  2. We put 2 tablespoons of butter in a large frying pan and put the formed disc. We leave it for 3 minutes until it is brown, then we turn it to the other side and leave it for another 3 minutes until the other side is brown. Then we transfer them to a tray covered with parchment paper and put it in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for 12 minutes. One minute, we take them out and pour them into the dish.
